| There are four basic types of Plastic liners: T-LOCK*,
rigid liners, drop in bag liners and formed in place
flexible liners.

Plastic Liners |
 Leewens
Corporation has installed T-LOCK* for municipalities
all over the United States, including Boston, San Francisco,
Portland, Seattle, and many other cities. T-LOCK* is
placed against the forms, then concrete is poured. The
bond to the concrete is a mechanical bond provided by
the T's. After the forms are stripped, the seams are
welded and all penetrations are patched and tested.

 Rigid
liners are custom made from solid sheets of composite
materials. Seams are either extrusion or fusion welded
to provide a leak free, chemical resistant liner. Leewens
Corporation works with many different types of composites
including PVC, CPVC, PVDF, Polypropylene, and HDPE.
Seams are tested after welding.
Formed in place flexible liners can be installed as
free floating liners attached only at the perimeter.
The free floating systems allow for movement of substrate
and differences in the coefficient of movement without
adverse effects on the liner. Perimeter attachments
are determined by the type of installation. Common applications
for free floating liners are ponds, tanks, leak detection
barriers, and secondary containment.
 Formed
in place flexible liners can also be adhered with mastic
or gaskets to form a completely sealed structure. This
type of liner is often used to rehabilitate concrete
structures that have eroded, structures of complicated
design, or in steel chemical process tanks.
 Bag
liners come preformed and are inserted into your tank.
Advantages of bag liners will be less down time, ease
of installation and the ability to have them in stock
for emergency repairs.
